New Regency Collection

Finally, after all my dresses almost completely sold out in my dress shop, I was able to burry myself in my studio and make more dresses for my Etsy.  One of the best parts of creating these gowns is choosing the fabric, trim and style.  These dresses are a basic design, but learning to cut them out on a Indian saree (without making it look like I threw it together) was a learning curve.

I have a few more that might pop up in my shop pretty soon.  A new shipment of sarees came in last week and I am thrilled with the quality!

‘Til next time,

Busy In The Studio

Written by , Posted in Studio Update

Many projects have passed through my little studio these past couple weeks.  From making quilt tops, long arm quilting, making more dresses for my shop, filling custom regency orders to a wedding alteration project.

Here, I am seam ripping the wedding dress to take the skirt off of the bodice.

Sewing the beads back on.  To alter the side seams, I had to take some of the beads off.

This past weekend I visited a the YLI thread mill.  I really appreciate how they use the old machinery!
