Recent Happenings

Within the past two weeks, many exciting things have been happening within the walls of my sewing room!

The custom orders continue to come in steadily.

Recently I have been able to invest in new equipment!  I ordered a large white board to visually organize my orders and schedule.

I was also able to purchase a better quality camera!  I did, in fact, switch to Nikon. 😉

After receiving my new camera, I slipped outside to snap a few pictures.   I was so amazed at the clarity, even with the standard lens!

Many times I have felt that I need to push things a long with my business.  Instead, I’m learning that the Lord will direct my paths.  He continues to open opportunities that I couldn’t have planned.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.  -Matthew 6:33

Until next time,

Weekly Routine

If you’re one of my family members or a neighbor of mine, you’ll know that this sight isn’t uncommon at our house.ERB_4092-2

Every week there is usually custom order that needs to be photographed for the customer to see the finished product.  By the time I am done making a dress for a customer, I feel like I’ve developed a small friendship.  It makes me want to take that extra step to take presentable photos.  After working with them and trying to find just the right color they want, I get so excited to show them how it turned out.  Plus, it’s so much more fun being outside. 😉
